The story of Top Knot Teemu...

On this day 134 years ago, gentleman explorer Thomas Frank Dixon Esq. returned from his last ever expedition of the deep dark jungles of the Amazon...

For years Dixon had heard rumours of a fierce and noble tribe of head hunters- isolated, and hidden from the outside world - known only to the western world as the mythical "People of the Mist". As untouchable  as the morning mist, this tribe was said to be devoted to the collecting of Tsantsa.

Legend has it that when the intrepid T. F. Dixon made his last ever expedition deep into the jungles of the Amazon he was finally was fortunate enough to discover the elusive "people of the mist".

Impresssed by Dixon's respect and reverence for the jungles, and in recognition of the fact that he had ventured unscathed so deeply into lands no other westerners had ever managed to, the People of the Mist made Dixon an honourary member of their tribe and gifted him with this ceremonial Tsantsa.

On his return from the jungles, Dixon was discovered wandering, alone, through a small farming outpost on the edges of the Great Green Sea. Half mad with thirst and hunger, when found he was clutching only one possession,  his sacred gift from the People of the Mist - his ceremonial Tsantsa, which Dixon affectionately referred to as "Top Knot Teemu".

~~~~~~~
Top Knot Teemu is a Tsantsa, better known as a shrunken head to us lay-folks.
He comes complete with his own display stand, attached to which is his original catalogue ticket from his time in T.F.Dixons' prized exotica collection which was famous throughout the lands.
From the bottom of his chin to the top of his forehead, he is only 4 inches in height, so he is a tiny little guy....who holds a big secret!
Unscrew his Topknot hairstyle and his head opens up to reveal 3 ounces of your favourite Rum!* or whatever your prefered Tiki beverage is*....
This lil' fella always brings a little extra to the Luau... Yep!  That's right, this lil' Fiji Frank Rum Buddy is a Hip Flask Tsantsa!!
Top Knot Teemu also makes the perfect travelling companion - just ask T. F. Dixon! - simply pop him off his display base, remove his Top Knot bone hair-decoration and he can be hung on the supplied braided cotton necklace, allowing him to be worn around your neck, making your favourite Tiki tipple always on hand!
You need never run short of your favourite Rum again, so long as you have your Fiji Frank Rum Buddy hanging round your neck! By the way for those of you who work in metric, 3 ounces is roughly about 120ml, plenty of your favourite Rum for that well earned drink...Go on, you deserve it!!
A'kale ma'luna! Cheers!
Thanks for dropping by and meeting the family, hopefully one of our lil' tikis will soon be joining your ohana! Mahalo Nui Loa!
Dimensions:
Top Knot Teemu Head, from his severed neck to the tip of his Top Knot hairstyle is approximately 7 inches.
Ear to ear he is approximately 5 inches.
On his display stand, he measures almost a glorious full 12 inches tall.
* Please note Top Knot Teemu does not come containing Rum or any beverages at all. You gotta add those yourself!
